Jim Hammond has had some sort of gun in his hand since he was five years old. He started with a Daisy BB gun as a small boy, and with careful instruction from his very-safety-minded father, has become a skilled and knowledgeable shooter now willing to share his knowledge and experience.
He grew up in Jacksonville, Fl , shooting and hunting with his father. He hunted quail over an English Setter (Duke) for years until Duke passed. He now enjoys days at the range and hunting hogs.
He is well versed in gun safety and shooting. From handguns, shotguns, rifles and air guns. He is available to teach you gun safety and or shooting skills. He has many students that did not know which end was up and are now safe skilled shooters.
Jim Hammond is a member of the Outdoors Writers Association of America and shares his shooting and reloading experiences with many readers in several publications both in print on the internet.
